Comprehensive Campus Plan
We recently completed a physical plan to reimagine how our campus can better support the current and future needs of our community. Check out this Reporter article about the CCP project. Facilities Planning & Construction is hard at work on the implementation strategy for this plan, which began with the Renick University 1st floor Renovation, and will continue with a plan to relocate Fairlane units to the main campus, and rethink the main central campus entry.

CEHHS Relocation to AB
Construction is slated to begin in summer 2025 to renovate the Administration Building in order to relocate the College of Education, Health & Human Services from Fairlane Center South to main campus. This work will consolidate space for administrative units in order to free up space for CEHHS in the AB. The newly reconfigured space is planned for an opening prior to the Fall 2026 semester.

COB Relocation to SSB
Design is underway for a renovation to the Social Sciences building, in order to relocate the College of Business from Fairlane Center South to the SSB. This project will enter the construction phase after the CEHHS Relocation to AB project is complete, and is slated for an opening in 2027.

Other Fairlane-related Moves
Many other smaller projects are in the works to relocate the remaining units from Fairlane Center to main campus over the next two years.
Central Entry Landscape
Conceptual design is underway to rethink the campus’s central entry from Evergreen Road, or the “front door” to campus to improve our identity and sense of place.
Roofing projects
In summer 2025, the Margidian Library and Renick University Center will get much-needed partial roofing replacements. These projects will complete a multi-year roof improvement plan for these two important buildings.
