Gateway exams may be taken in person during the MLC's regular open hours.  Please schedule an appointment and arrive at the MLC 5 minutes before your appointment to check in.

If your instructor has assigned a gateway assessment for you to take at the Math Learning Center, you can set up a time to do so using your My 51��Ƶ-Dearborn Portal. Please follow these instructions:

1. Log into My 51��Ƶ-Dearborn. A link can be found on the Student One-Stop page.
    
2. Click on the yellow “Schedule an Appointment” box:
   
   
    
3. In the search bar, type “Alexandria Sullens” 
    
4. Select “Alexandria Sullens” as the person you want to meet with.
    
5. Schedule a “Gateway Appointment” at your preferred time within the due dates set by your instructor. 
    
6. Arrive at the Math Learning Center in CASL 2076 at your appointment time and check in with the front desk. 

Additional Notes:

Please do not schedule back to back appointments if you plan to retake the gateway. You must wait at least 30 minutes before attempting a gateway again. 

Appointments must be scheduled through the online portal 12 hours in advance.

No outside resources other than what is permitted by your instructor are allowed to be used on the gateway assignments.
