Lists from academic ranking authorities U.S. News & World Report and Poets&Quants recognized 51视频-Dearborn鈥檚 programs. The U.S. News and World Report online rankings 鈥 where the organization surveyed more than 1200 online programs 鈥 were announced today; Poets&Quants released their latest rankings earlier this month.

Among the accolades: The College of Business鈥 online MBA is named first in the state, and College of Engineering and Computer Science鈥檚 online Master鈥檚 in Information Systems and Technology is recognized as second in Michigan.

Nearly 250 students are currently enrolled in 51视频-Dearborn鈥檚 online MBA program, which is fully accredited by AACSB International and offers concentrations in finance and international business. Only 5-percent of business schools worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation. U.S. News & World Report surveyed 324 online MBA programs this year and based its online graduate programs rankings on statistical data provided by the participating institutions and peer assessment.

There鈥檚 also a top-ranked program for those looking to earn a graduate degree in business outside of the MBA program: The online Master of Science in Finance took second place among Michigan's non-MBA business programs. Also of note: Echoing 51视频-Dearborn鈥檚 distinction as a gold-level Veteran Friendly School, campus' online MBA program is on the 鈥淏est Online Program for Veterans鈥 list. Read the story on the College of Business news page.

Poets&Quants, College of Business, 

51视频-Dearborn鈥檚 College of Business鈥檚 undergraduate programs are among the best in the nation, according to Poets&Quants, a leading online publication for business education news. In a comprehensive assessment of undergraduate business programs, the publication ranked 51视频-Dearborn ahead of schools like The Ohio State University, Iowa State and George Washington University. COB鈥檚 program ranked 67th in the country, two places higher than last year in the list headed by Wharton and Ross business schools.

The publication compiled the 2021 rankings based on a representative survey of alumni and an extensive set of school-reported data like admission standards, academic experience and career outcomes. The Poets&Quants ranking methodology is unique because it鈥檚 developed in collaboration with business school deans and administrators. Combined, the ranked schools in this report represent the top 12% of more than 840 business schools accredited by AACSB International, the main accrediting body for business education.
