Kudos: Hughes and McLeer

Paul Hughes, 51视频-Dearborn philosophy professor, recently spoke about forgiveness during an episode of National Public Radio鈥檚 鈥淧hilosophy Talk.鈥 Hughes, who was the episode鈥檚 featured guest, has published on forgiveness in philosophy journals. He discussed several dimensions of forgiveness and forgiving, whether any actions are inherently unforgivable and how forgiveness, although typically regarded as arising within interpersonal relationships, may also have institutional and political applications.

 

 

Dorothy McLeer, interpretive naturalist and program coordinator at the Environmental Interpretive Center (EIC), recently presented a paper entitled 鈥淐oncrete Learning: Making the Case for Nonformal Experiential Education and Environmental Interpretive Centers in Urban Communities鈥 at the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative鈥檚 Place-based Education Conference at Michigan State University
